Trip Report
Mount Constitution is a peak located on Orcas Island in the San Juan Islands north of Seattle. The peak is famous for its marine views. It not only is the highpoint of San Juan county and the San Juan Islands, but it also sports over 2000 feet of prominence.
Getting to Orcas Islands requires a ferry ride from Anacortes.
The islands are amazing and should be on everyone's wish list. In addition to visiting Mount Constitution, we did some sea kayaking in the smooth waters of the Puget Sound. We saw seals and then did a bit of hiking on Point Doughty before heading back.
